CORRECTIONS SAT-MOD-20180709-00052 S2179 EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation requests a modification of its license for its EchoStar 9 space station, operating at the 121° W.L. orbital location. EchoStar seeks a four-year extension of its license term, from August 18, 2018 to August 31, 2022. EchoStar 9 is a hybrid space station authorized to provide service using the 18.3-18.5 GHz, 18.6-18.8 GHz, 19.7-20.2 GHz, 28.4-28.6 GHz and 29.3-30.0 GHz frequency bands under Call Sign S2179, and the 11.7-12.2 GHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz frequency bands under Call Sign S2143. EchoStar also requests to consolidate the call signs for the Ku-band and Ka-band payloads for the Echostar 9 space station. See letter to Marlene H.
