CHAIRMAN PAI STATEMENT ON GUILTY PLEA BY
FEDERAL CRIMINAL DEFENDANT MARKARA MAN 

WASHINGTON, September 4, 2018—Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai issued the following statement regarding last Friday’s guilty plea by Markara Man.  Mr. Man pleaded guilty in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia:

“I would like to thank the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI, local law enforcement, and FCC security officials for their hard work protecting my family and me.  I am deeply grateful for all they have done to keep us safe.”
