SAT-STA-20181212-00088 E S2947 Horizons-3 License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 12/20/2018 On December 20, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Horizons-3 License LLC for a period of 30 days to continue to conduct in-orbit testing (IOT) of the Horizons 3e satellite at the 164.2º E.L. orbital location using the 3700-4200 MHz, 10.85-11.7 GHz, and 12.2-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 5925-6425 MHz, 12.92-13.25 GHz, and 13.75-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Horizons-3 is also granted authority to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain Horizons 3e during IOT at the 164.2º E.L. orbital location, and to drift Horizons 3e to the 169.0° E.L. orbital location upon completion of IOT, using the following center frequencies: 4197.75 MHz, 4198.25 MHz, 4198.75 MHz, and 4199.25 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 5850.0-5853.5 MHz and 6421.5-6425.0 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20181218-00091 E Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 12/20/2018 On December 20, 2018, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 30 days, to operate a C/Ku-band satellite, the JCSAT-RA space station, at the 168.9º E.L. orbital location to provide fixed-satellite service in the 3940-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 6225-6485 MHz (Earth-to-space), 12.2-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.8-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat is also granted authority to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to drift JCSAT-RA from the 169.0° E.L. orbital location to the 168.9° E.L. orbital location, and maintain it upon its arrival at that location using the center frequencies of 13.9935 GHz and 14.496 GHz (Earth-to-space); and 4199.55 MHz, 12.2485 GHz, 12.7472 GHz, 12.74835 GHz and 12.74975 GHz (space-to-Earth).
