After examining the National Do-Not-Call Registry as a potential model as instructed by the Commission, the NAOWG determined that fundamental differences between the Registry and the Reassigned Numbers Database, as well as a dearth of publicly available cost information related to the Registry, precluded the group from determining specific dollar amounts for establishing and operating the database. The attached recommendations address the processes for funding and repayment of the creation costs of the Reassigned Numbers Database, as well as the initial pricing structure and pricing levels for use of the database.
