Monitoring will be performed by physicians at University Medical ('enter. a large multi-specialty clinic affiliated with the University of Alabama. With RPM equipment, clinical level data can be rela)·ed. uirelessly and immediately, from the patient's home to a primary care physician. The use of this equipment can alert physicians that attention is needed, allowing a patient's needs to be addressed immediately. This approach will reduce cost. improve care. expand access to care. and protect these high risk patients bb keeping them at home and away from medical facilities. 1 hope you will agree that this proposal has merit and is worthy of funding.
