Sorenson’s conditional certification for the provision of IP CTS was granted by the Commission’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) on April 24, 2014. The Certification Application was last updated on November 13, 2020. A certification to provide Internet-based telecommunications relay service (TRS) may be granted conditionally where the Commission determines that, while the application facially meets the certification requirements, further verification is necessary for some of the information contained in the application. This letter is to acknowledge receipt of Sorenson’s notification of non-substantial assignment of Sorenson’s conditional IP CTS certification to CaptionCall, effective December 1, 2020. CaptionCall is subject to all the conditions included in the certification granted by CGB. Ultimate conversion to full certification will be granted if, after further review and verification, the Commission finds that CaptionCall is in compliance with the Commission’s rules and orders and is qualified to receive compensation from the Interstate TRS Fund for the provision of IP CTS.
