He also announced that Ben Arden, who has been serving as a Legal Advisor in Commissioner Carr’s Office since 2019, will serve as Carr’s Chief of Staff. “I am delighted that Danielle has agreed to enter public service and join my office as a Legal Advisor,” said Commissioner Carr. “Danielle brings a breadth of legal and public policy expertise to the job, and her experience in private practice will be a strong asset for the office. She has worked on a broad range of technology and telecom issues, and I look forward to drawing on her counsel and advice.” “I also want to thank Ben for his continuing service and for taking on the additional role of Chief of Staff. He has provided valuable guidance since joining my office in 2019, and I am confident that he will excel in this new role.” Danielle joins Commissioner Carr’s office from the Washington, D.C., office of Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP where she focused on a wide variety of regulatory, policy, and transactional issues, with a special focus on infrastructure, public safety, and spectrum policy. After attending the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree, Danielle earned her J.D. cum laude from the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law where she was Associate Editor of the Catholic University Law Review.
