SAT-MPL-20210209-00019 E S3055 Eutelsat S.A. Date Filed: 02/09/2021 10:41:00:15000 Modification to PDR/PPL Eutelsat S.A. seeks modification of the grant of market access for its EUTELSAT 139 West A space station at the 139.2º W.L. orbital location to expand the service area of the satellite and add additional frequencies. Specifically, Eutelsat requests modification of its grant of market access to provide fixed-satellite service (FSS), including to earth stations in motion (ESIMs), via EUTELSAT 139 West A at 139.2° W.L. using the following additional frequency bands: 10.7-10.95 GHz, 11.2-11.45 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 12.98-13.25 GHz (Earth-to-space). Eutelsat also seeks modification of its grant of market access for EUTELSAT 139 West A to add a new South Pacific beam that would provide FSS using the 10.95-11.2 GHz and 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) bands. Eutelsat requests waiver, to the extent necessary, of Section 2.106 of the Commission's rules, note NG52, which limits use of certain frequency bands by geostationary orbit FSS satellites to international systems.
