Galaxy 31 is authorized to provide fixed-satellite service in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Galaxy 31 is also authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations using the following center frequencies: 4197.25 MHz, 4197.75 MHz, and 4199.95 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 6422.0 MHz and 6424.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). SAT-STA-20210408-00047 E S2154 Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 06/11/2021 On June 11, 2021, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for an additional period of 180 days, to Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession, to provide fixed-satellite service (FSS) from the Galaxy 25 space station at the 32.9° E.L. orbital location. Galaxy 25 operates in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and conducts telemetry, tracking, and command using the following center frequencies: 4195.5 MHz and 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 5926.5 MHz and 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). The Satellite Division designates the above-captioned proceeding as "permit-but-disclose" for purposes of the Commission's rules governing ex parte communications, effective June 24, 2021. We find that designating this proceeding as permit-but-disclose will serve the public interest by facilitating the resolution of broad policy issues raised by the application. SAT-LOA-20210611-00079 S3094 Intelsat License LLC, as debtor-in-possession Intelsat License LLC, debtor-in-possession, has filed first-step application information, for a two-step space station license application, pursuant to section 25.110(b)(3) of the Commission's rules. Accordingly, the Satellite Division has submitted requests for coordination of the USABSS-50, USASAT-85A, and USASAT-101G satellite networks to the International Telecommunication Union. The proposed geostationary space station would operate at the 137° W.L. orbital location in the following frequency bands: 10.7-11.7 GHz, 12.2-14.5 GHz, 17.3-17.8 GHz, 18.3-18.8 GHz, 19.7-20.2 GHz, 27.5-27.506 GHz, 28.344-28.356 GHz, 28.594-28.6 GHz, 29.5-29.506 GHz, 29.994-30 GHz, 42.5-43.5 GHz, and 47.2-50.2 GHz. Pursuant to section 25.165(f) of the Commission's rules, Intelsat must obtain a surety bond in the amount of $500,000 in connection with its first-step filing and submit a copy of the bond to the Commission by July 26, 2021.
