SAT-MPL-20200526-00062 E S2963 WorldVu Satellites Limited Date Filed: 05/26/2020 22:15:27:36600 Modification to PDR/PPL WorldVu Satellites Limited has petitioned for modification of its grant of U.S. market access for a 720-satellite, non-geostationary satellite system licensed by the United Kingdom. WorldVu seeks market access for an enlarged constellation of 6,372 satellites, of which 716 satellites would be deployed in an initial phase. WorldVu also requests waiver of sections 25.116(c), 25.146(a)(1), 25.155(b), and 25.157 of the Commission's rules, to the extent necessary. The modified WorldVu system would continue to operate at an approximate altitude of 1200 km using the 10.7-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), 14-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), 17.8-18.6 GHz (space-to-Earth), 18.8-19.3 GHz (space-to-Earth), 27.5-29.1 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 29.5-30 GHz (Earth-to-space) bands.
