 By  the  Commission: 
 1.  Pursuant  to  sections  254(  a)(  1)  and  410(  c)  of  the  Communications  Act  of  1934,  as  amended,  1  the  Federal  Communications  Commission  (Commission)  appoints  the  Honorable  Lisa  Polak 
 Edgar,  Commissioner  of  the  Florida  Public  Service  Commission,  and  the  Honorable  Larry  S.  Landis,  Commissioner  of  the  Indiana  Utility  Regulatory  Commission,  to  serve  on  the  Federal-  State  Joint  Board 
 on  Universal  Service.  2  These  appointments  fill  the  positions  vacated  by  the  Honorable  Robert  Nelson,  former  Commissioner  of  the  Michigan  Public  Service  Commission  and  the  Honorable  Elliot  Smith, 
 former  Board  Member  of  the  Iowa  Utilities  Board.  3  The  Commission  gratefully  acknowledges  the  contributions  of  Robert  Nelson  and  Elliot  Smith  to  the  work  of  the  Federal-  State  Joint  Board. 


 2.  Henceforth,  a  copy  of  all  filings  in  this  proceeding  shall  be  served  on  Lisa  Polak  Edgar  and  Larry  S.  Landis  at  the  following  addresses:
